My passion is creating a safe, non-judgmental space for children, adolescents, and young adults to speak about and process their feelings in order to gain emotional growth, as well as learn and heal from their traumas. I am particularly passionate about working with individuals who are impacted by having a sibling with a developmental disability. I received my Bachelor\u2019s degree in Psychology and Social Behavior, and my Master\u2019s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have past experience working as an ABA therapist for children who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as a service coordinator at Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center, serving adults with developmental disabilities and their families by connecting them with different services such as respite, and social skills training. I use several different evidence-based models, focusing mostly on strengths-based and cognitive-behavioral therapy, to treat issues ranging from anxiety, depression, interpersonal issues, developmental delays, and familial issues. Additionally, I believe the key to effective treatment is a comprehensive approach involving different individuals in the client\u2019s life, as well as collaboratively working with the client. SPACE stands for Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions and is a parent-based treatment program for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, and related problems.
